Evaluating hydrocarbon migration, charge history and leakage on Australia's North-West Shelf using generic, multi-disciplinary, multi-technology approaches The workshop integrates an extensive collection of data sets from many survey types obtained over the North-West Shelf of Australia.
The North-West Shelf contains the Bonaparte Basin, the Browse Basin, the Canning Basin and the Carnarvon Basin. To date, over 700 exploration wells have been drilled to discover over 200 fields. Developed reserves total approximately 1.8 billion barrels of oil, 1 billion barrels of condensate and 32 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of gas.
